Roman coped well with the 10th stage of the Giro that featured a small steep climb at the end. He finished in 9th position and is still sitting in 4th place overall.

It was supposed to be a peaceful 9th stage of the Giro but its finale turned out more dramatic than expected due to Rodriguez´s attack and a crash in the final corner. Luckily, Roman avoided the pile-up.

The Italian rider Pozzovivo claimed a comfortable win in the 8th stage of the Giro. Roman crossed the finish line together with all the favorites but he has improved his position in the general classification as he is now sitting in 4th place.

It was Roman´s teammate Tiralongo who prevailed in today´s stage with a twisting uphill finish. Roman lost 11 seconds on him and has moved up to the 7th position overall.

Today the riders faced the first challenging stage of the Giro, in which Roman crossed the finish line side by side with his major rivals. He had a word of praise for his teammate Dyachenko who narrowly missed a podium spot.
