Almería replaces Sardinia

“It is not too big of a change for me. I will undergo another camp in Calpe instead and from there I will travel for the Clásica de Almería. It is some 300km away from Calpe. After that my race schedule should continue as planned,” Roman revealed.Presently, he is getting ready for the season on Tenerife where he has finished another week of hard training at high altitudes. Gasparotto, Brajkovič and Kessiakoff are those who keep him company. “We´re staying at the same hotel, away from the others, as we always do. We have put long climbs on our training agenda and, on top of that, each time we want to reach the high altitudes we have to start riding from the sea level and it makes the ride even more difficult. I´m following  tried-and-true training methods and I don’t want to make any changes,” he said.Roman will be riding on Tenerife until Friday and even though he and his buddies are staying in a secluded place there is no time to get bored. “Time passes quickly here. After coming back from the rides we take a massage and go to dinner. And, by the way, since we arrived here I´ve managed to read a book I had brought along.”
