Christmas time at homeMon December 21, 2009, 22:20 After a couple of days at the camp in the Spanish town of Benicassi, I moved to the Czech Republic for the Christmas time. We were training in Spain for three days and the weather was pretty nice. The first two days it was about 10C and the third day the temperature even reached 15C. On Friday I had to fly to Italy for supper with our second major sponsor Doimo. It was a huge action for the staff, there were some 800 people. I was there with Pellizotti, Basso and a young Italian Cimolai. We sat round the table with an Italian formula driver Luca Badoer who used to be a test driver for Ferrari. Everything was pretty cool. On Saturday Garda was covered with snow, which happens once in three years. But I hit the roads for a two-hour ride anyway. The next day I rode for three and a half hours and then I moved to the Czech Republic on Monday. I will show up at the Sportsperson of the Year of the Czech Republic in Prague on Tuesday and I'm planning to stay at home until January 3. To enrich my prep I'm going to do some track cycling in Prague where I've already booked the velodrome. Translated from original by: Ondřej Vobora This article is also translated :
