Confident that Albert will seal the overall victory

Roman has been perfectly working for Tinkoff-Saxo´s captain Contador and he is hopeful that his captain will retain the overall lead even after the final time trial.

“Two hard stages are behind us and it was really tough controlling the race. Since Alberto has been in the lead from the very first day we knew that we were in for a hard work. We are all confident that Albert will pull off a great time trial ride and seal the overall victory. The course should definitely suit to his characteristics. It is quite technical and demanding,” said Roman. “As for myself, I believe that I will have a proper recovery after the Basque and will be well-prepared for the second part of the classic campaign,” he added.
