Excellent team work and Sagan´s victory

The Tinkoff Saxo team, including Roma, did a great job and celebrated a success when Peter Sagan grabbed a victory at the Tirreno Adriatico.

“We have a really hard day behind us, especially because of the rain. We knew that many rider chilled to the bone on the descent, so we increased the pace on another ascent to shake off some sprinter and make it easier for Sagan,” described Roman.

Sagan was riding behind two riders of MTN-Qhubeka and he attached in the right moment. “It worked out perfectly. It is good for Peter and the whole team that we finished with a stage victory after the good work in the whole week.”
