Feeling relaxed before the mountainsFri July 9, 2010, 19:12 Roman finished the today’s stage without any difficulties and arrived at the finish with all the favorites three seconds behind the bunch of sprinters in which Cavendish dominated once again.
"A small gap opened between the groups because the finish wasn’t that easy and nobody wanted to take any unnecessary risks. Cavendish deserved the victory once again, the Columbia did a good job today," said Roman after the finish. "All in all, the stage was pretty easy. I felt no pain after the crash and I hope to have saved some energy for the Alps. Yesterday I felt worn-out from the heat a little bit but today it wasn’t so bad," he added before the weekend’s battle in the mountain. Translated from original by: Ondřej Vobora |
