Skiing in Livigno, riding at home and off to Canary

“I will be there with my two teammates Bozic and Guarnieri. They will leave after some time but Gasparotto, who is arriving later, will keep me company for the rest of my stay. In addition, the Liquigas riders Oss and Viviano will be also around until January 10 so we will make a great training crew,” Roman said. 
 
It will be his second time to start his build-up for the season on the Gran Canaria island. “One of the advantages of this location is that the weather is constantly nice. There are long climbs and even though currently the weather in the Czech Republic isn’t bad for riding I will feel more relaxed on the island. We are going to have a masseur at hand so everything should be perfect,” stated one of the Astana´s leader. 
 
Roman spent the end of the last year mostly in Pilsen, he visited his parents in the Sumava mountains and he went skiing for two days in Livigno with his friend and teammate Gasparotti. “The first day we went cross-country skiing and the following day we enjoyed downhill skiing. We came back to the Czech Republic on the New Year´s Eve. As for training, I kept combining gym work with outdoor training and now I am heading out to another camp,” Roman outlined his plans.
