Fine-tuning for the Tour de Swiss

After a short break Roman is returning to the race action at the Tour de Swiss. He has completed a high altitude training camp in Livigno and now he is back in Italy where he will be fine-tuning his form along with his coach.

“The preparation in Livigno was really good. Except for one day, the weather was really great and I fulfilled the plan that I had prepared. My teammate Mateo Tossato kept me company there. We managed to do some tough riding in the mountains and we even rode our time trial bikes. After that, I went home to the Czech Republic and thanks to the sunny weather I was able to put in some hard rides there as well,” said Roman.

At present, he is back in Italy. “I am planning to do some intense training behind a motor-bike and I will also do some strength intervals to adjust my body for the prologue at the Tour de Swiss. I believe that these rides will help me to find my racing rhythm because I feel that I am kind of lacking it,” added Roman.
