Roman to ride USA Pro Challenge

After a training camp in Livigno Roman travelled to Colorado to participate in the stage race USA Pro Challenge.
“After San Sebastian I left for a training camp to Livigno where I did first some recovery rides and then at the end of the week I did some intervals as well to get into the rhythm for the USA Pro Challenge,” described Roman. “There was a great bunch of riders, including Bennati, Majka or Pellizotti and Frantisek Padour, for example.“
He is hopeful that he will get adapted to the climate conditions in Colorado. “I will have a couple of days to cope with the time zone change but thanks to staying in Livigno it will be all right, I guess,” admitted Roman
He has no idea how he is going to feel in the race. “We will see if I will have a go in one of the stages or I will focus on the GC. The second stage features mountaintop finish so I will find out if I have the legs. In any case, we are going to bring a strong team and I believe that we will show our best qualities,” added Roman.
He will return home from the USA for a couple of days and then he is going back to Canada. “I will see how it goes in Canada and if I have the legs I will participate in the road world championship race.”
