A great job done before races

My personal coach with his colleagues from the University of Colorado at Boulder came to visit me in Italy. Apart from them some people from the Specialized, the Astana’s sports director Dimitri Sedoun and  two team mechanics arrived. I am here on my own, my teammates are elsewhere following their respective plans. I rode on the track and road. It was about adjusting my riding position both on my time trial and regular bike. I also did an outdoor test on a climb on Wednesday.I don’t want to give away any specific details but I think it is safe to say that the results turned out pretty well. The tests proved that I am on the right track to be in my best shape possible at the Giro. Me and my coach are very happy about the outcome and it gives me a boost for the upcoming races. Today I am travelling for a one-day race Friuli, which I see as a sort of an increased intensity training before the Paris-Nice.
