“The stage wasn’t difficult but we raced a lot. A group of five riders broke away and because we were riding with the tailwinds it was hard to catch them. Plus the leader of the race fell in the feed zone, we waited for him so the escapees enjoyed some seconds to their advantage. We chased them down with six kilometers to go. David from our team went for the sprint and he came in fifth so we can be satisfied,” Roman admitted.
