Good practice

“This long stage was exactly what I needed. It was a long ride, we spent six hours in the saddle. I´m convinced that the Polish Tour will help me in my build-up for the Olympics. I´m slowly getting into the racing swing but I must repeat that I didn’t come here to fight for the GC. If I have good legs I will try to do something on the weekend,” Roman revealed.“The last 19kilometers featured circuits and it was quite dangerous. The peloton split into several groups, I stayed in the second one and then I eased off the pace at the end of the stage,” he added.2nd stage (239.4 km): 1. Swift (GBr/Sky) 5:49:57, 2. Viviani (Ita/Liquigas), 3. Boonen (Bel/Omega Pharma-Quick Step), 4. Degenkolb (Ger/Argos Shimano), 5. Modolo (Ita/Colnago), … 175. Roman Kreuziger (Cze/Astana) +3:05.
