“Above all, only medals count in the Olympic race so there is no point in speculating whether the fifteenth place is a success or not. But all in all, I´m quite satisfied with my performance although we missed out a bit in the finale to chase those two riders ahead of us. It was clear that I would stand no chance in the bunch sprint, I am simply not a fast rider,” said Roman who improved his Olympic result from Beijing where he finished in 44th position 4 years ago.
