My hand is not hurting, we pulled off a good TTT

“Most importantly, the Garmin team deserve a word of praise. They are considered one of the best in the TTT and they proved a point,” Roman said. “But we can be happy, too, because we pulled off a really solid performance. We distributed our strength and every rider overcame his crisis quite well. It was clear that we had rehearsed the time trial a couple of times before. We can´t complain about the outcome.”His only regret was that Zeit was missing in the finale. “Di Gregorio, riding in front of him, left a gap open and then he wasn’t able to close it. His absence was quite apparent with 5km to go because we were struggling with the headwinds and we were running out of gas. That is where he could have been helpful to us but there is nothing we can do about it,” Roman added. His injured wrist from the Saturday´s crash didn’t bother him in any way. “Our physiotherapist did an excellent job and the pain completely vanished. In the morning I could move my wrist without any problems. Bearing in mind that me and my two teammates fell down yesterday, we bounced back quite  well.”Stage 2 (Team time trial – Les Essarts (23 km): 1st Garmin Cervélo 24:48, 2nd BMC, 3rd Sky  +4, 4th Leopard Trek, 5th HTC-Highroad +5, 6th Radioshack +10, 7th Rabobank +12, 8th Saxo Bank-SunGard +28, 9th Astana +32, 10th Omega Pharma-Lotto +39.Overall: 1st Thor Hushovd (Nor/Garmin Cervélo) 5:06:25, 2nd David Millar (GBr/Garmin Cervélo), 3rd Cadel Evans (Aus/BMC) +1, 4th Geraint Thomas (GBr/Sky), 5th Linus Gerdemann (Ger/Leopard-Trek), 6th F. Schleck (Lux/Leopard-Trek) +4, … 92nd Roman Kreuziger (Cze/Astana) +2:21.
