Start in Oman: Roman will be the teams captain

Roman will make his first appearance in the 2015 season in the Tinkoff-Saxo kit. He will line up at the stage race Tour of Oman where he started last year and finished eighth.

“I have a quite long training camp behind me and I am not feeling bad. Rafa Majka will be our team leader for the GC and Peter Sagan will focus on the flat stages. I will be the captain and my job will be to lead the team during the race,” revealed Roman

He is looking forward to this first start. “I will pin the race number again after a long time. I am happy that I can kick off the season here. I did the race last year so I know what´s coming. The first three stages are great to get into the rhythm, then the stage with Green Mountain will come and the following day will features a couple of hilly circuits. We will see what shape I will be in compared to the others.”
