Two mishaps

“The first crash happened some 15K to go on an ascent. Me and Rogers got tangled into it and ended up on the ground. Suddenly, a bunch of bikes appeared in front of us and it was impossible to avoid it. Good thing is that we are all right, I just bumped my foot a bit and Michael hit his hand and knee,” Roman described. The other mishap occurred in the final sprint. “Bouhanni made an unreasonable maneuver, hit the rider next to him and we all went down. I managed to hit the brakes in time but other riders bumped me from behind. My rear make came off so I had to push against the ground with my feet to get to the finish line. The important thing is that I didn’t get hurt in that pile-up. We had a bummer of a day but everything could have ended much worse. The bottom line is that we didn’t lose any time,” Roman added.
