We should have had somebody upfront

“In our point of view, it was a real bummer not having anybody upfront. A breakaway group was expected to go away. Other than that, nothing major happened back in the peloton. Only the miserable weather made the day more difficult. It was raining again all day long and it was also very cold, but the conditions are the same for everyone,” Roman admitted.Furthermore, Roman denied the rumors spread by the Czech media that he would be participating in  this year´s Tour de France. “My parents called me from the Czech Republic to inform me that the TV says that I will supposedly ride the Tour. It is a pure nonsense, I don’t know where they got that idea from. That is out of the question. After the national championship I´m going to take a break and then I´m going to get back to racing at the Tour of Poland. After that, I will want to get in the best shape possible for the Olympics.”
