Even this year´s Tour is great experience

„It is important to hang in there and finish the Tour even with a little bit of suffering. I hope to succeed in taking a stage victory. After all, this Tour is valuable experience for the future and one day I might take advantage of it, Roman admitted.Today´s stage was really windy but the pack didn´t split. The HTC Highroad riders had everything under control and they spent most of the day at the front. They wanted the stage to come down to a sprint and their tactics worked.“The news of Vinokurov retiring from professional cycling came as no surprise to Roman. „From next year he plans to work as one of Astana´s manager. I think he made the right decision. He probably didn´t want to end his career like this but after having suffered the injury it wouldn´t be easy to come back. I don´t know which post he is going to hold in the team. As a rider he´s gained extensive practical knowledge over the years but for his managerial post he will have to get a little bit of practice.“Stage 15 (Limoux–Montpellier, 192.5 km): 1st Mark Cavendish (GBr/HTC-Highroad) 4:20:24, 2nd Tyler Farrar (USA/Garmin-Cervélo), 3rd Alessandro Petacchi (Ita/Lampre), 4th Daniel Oss (Ita/Liquigas), 5th José Joaquín Rojas (Spa/Movistar), 6th Ben Swift (GBr/Sky) s, … 159th Roman Kreuziger (Cze/Astana) +5:00.Overall: 1st Thomas Voeckler (Fra/Europcar) 65:24:34, 2nd Fränk Schleck (Lux/Leopard-Trek) +1:49, 3rd Cadel Evans (Austr./BMC) +2:06, 4th Andy Schleck (Lux/Leopard-Trek)  +2:15, 5th Ivan Basso (Ita/Liquigas) +3:16, 6th Samuel Sánchez (Spa/Euskaltel) +3:44, 7th Alberto Contador (Spa/Saxo Bank) +4:00, 8th Damiano Cunego (Ita/Lampre) +4:01, … 111th Roman Kreuziger +1:44:37.
