Heading south to the Canaries

“I´m here with Bennati and some of my teammates are coming later,” Roman said after his arrival in the Gran Canaria island. “I will spent the entire January here. I want to get slowly into the training swing and then my coach should arrive next week. Our first team training camp in this year starts here on 17 February. I know around here very well and we don’t have to worry much about the bad weather so we will have ideal training conditions here,” he said.Roman didn’t spent the Christmas holiday just lounging around. “I started with the general preparations for the season. I went out riding only four times but I did ride on the rollers at home. During the Christmas holiday I went downhill skiing with Míša on the Livigno slopes but now it is time to put in some hard training sessions on the bike.”
