No need to jump to conclusions after one bad day

“First and foremost, we have to keep a cool head because it was only the first mountain-top finish. Alberto had one of his bad moments but it can happen to anybody. Hopefully, he has now used up his bad day and from now on, he will be getting only better,” Roman said. “We expected that Froome would try to make a move in the first hard stage. He managed to gain some time but I don’t think it is a big deal. The Tour is like a jigsaw-puzzle you have to put every piece into its place to celebrate the overall victory. That´s why, we remain relaxed even though we know we could have done better today,” Roman said. He himself felt good and stayed with Alberto until the end of the stage. “When I noticed that he was suffering I immediately knew what my duty was. I  didn’t even have to be told through the radio. I´ve come here to work for Alberto and I´m convinced that he will shine in the last week, which is going to be crucial.”
