No time to throw in the towel. The Tour is far from being over…

How did you spend the rest day? Just like the first one. I woke up at around 9 o´clock and we went out for a spin for an hour and a half. Then we took lunch, we had salad and omelet in order not to feel bloated. After that, we attended a press conference, took some rest, had a massage, dinner is planned for 8pm and tomorrow is another day of racing. How are you managing the fatigue? Last week was quite difficult, we were riding hard in every stage and it is normal that the fatigue sets in after two weeks of racing. Everybody welcomed the rest day but I am still feeling quite strong. What do you expect of the final week in the Alps? It is going to be really hard and right the tomorrow´s stage should not be underrated. It can turn out to be tricky. Then we are going to ride full gas the time trial and then three tough days in the mountains are ahead of us. Two of them feature mountain-top finish and one stage ends after a 10km downhill. Are going to try to put Froome under pressure? We are definitely not throwing in the towel. I´ve said several times that the Tour is not over until we reach Paris and until then, we will keep trying to figure something out. We will do our best to help Alberto take the overall victory. What about your position in the GC? I´ve said that Alberto is our man for the GC. This is our initial plan and we are going to stick to it. There are small gaps in the overall standings and Quintana is making his way up. It is hard to plan anything beforehand, it is going to be a tight fight until the end. When is your family coming to support you? They are coming for the Alpe d´Huez stage.
