Practicing in Italy, racing in Czech on Sunday

“After I returned from the US I took five easy days as a recovery from the high altitudes. Then I put three short blocks on my training agenda but they were targeted at high intensities to stay up to speed. I´m completing the last part of those training blocks in Italy,” Roman described. Roman is set to line up at the Czech UCI race from Carlsbad to Prague, riding for the national colors. “This kind of race perfectly fits into my preparations for the Worlds. I have no idea what legs I will have but the bottom line is to put in a hard effort. I guess I will ride 20km as a transfer to the start and after the race I will ride from Prague to Pilsen to practice the route of the World Championship race that is 257km long,” Roman said. He is going to make the final preparations in Pilsen before he travels to the venue on Friday. “I´m really doing my best in my build-up, I´m planning to do some riding behind a car or a motorbike. As far as his transfer is concerned. “All I can say is that nothing has been determined yet. I have no secrets but you have to wait for a while. As soon as the matter has been resolved I will be happy to make the official announcement.”
