Preparation in Livigno and team camp in St. Moritz

“I´ve been in Livigno with Quinziato since Monday and everything is going as planned. My goal was to get adapted to high altitudes. At the beginning we rode at easy pace and didn’t include any hard climbs, until Friday. The team also inserted a team camp in St. Moritz into our schedule. They wanted me to be there from the first day but I asked them if I could prepare on my own during the first week. I thought it was a right thing to do and I got the permission. I discussed this option with Vino, too,” revealed Roman who enjoyed today a day off, which came in handy, because it was pouring down all day long.He is set to travel to St. Moritz after the weekend.”I will be staying there until Saturday or Sunday. For this reason, my participation in the Czech national championship is out of the question. I was partly considering to participate but the team camp will do me more good. On top of that, the team wants us to be in a complete line-up because we will rehearse the team time trial. It is quite a common thing for many teams to do before big races. That way we will find out who is in what shape and we will also have the time to tune up some other things,” Roman said.
