We had everything under control

“It was another calm stage, partly because of that breakaway group of four riders. Towards the end there were two rolling climbs and our plan was to keep the pace high in order to tire the best sprinters. We were riding for Matti and he pulled it off greatly. It was a bit chaotic in the finale and I just marked the yellow jersey so as not to lose any time,” Roman described.Once again, he had a word of praise for his team. “My teammates did a nice job, I felt one notch better today after the Monday´s crash and we coped well. Tomorrow features two third category climbs but the last 20km is downhill so, I suppose, it will come down to a sprint,” Roman added.
