Riding on my days off

“Even though I was supposed to take a few days off the bike I went riding anyway. I just didn’t want to be off my bike for too long. I traveled to the Czech Republic and since the weather was really splendid there, I had a feeling that it would not be a bad idea to go riding. So I took two-hour rides on Thursday and Friday just to chill. Then I had a quiet weekend with my girlfriend as we rode the mountain bikes and took walks with our dog,” Roman said.He returned to hard training on Monday. “Before leaving for Tenerife there are three high intensity rides ahead of me and then I will continue in my preparation at high altitudes. My teammates Gasparotto and Petrov will surely join me and somebody else might come as well,” revealed Roman who couldn’t miss watching the classic race Milan-San Remo. “Too bad that Sagan didn’t clinch the victory I´d rather he had won the race. He was very close to taking the win so it´s a pity he didn’t. I think he was better than anyone else. On the other hand, Gerrans showed that he´s been on form from the start of the season.”
