Tour recon: The last week will be hellish

The crew was comprised of Roman, Alberto Contador, Nicholas Roche, Jesus Hernandez and Chris Anker. “We inspected the sections of the last week ( 16th -20th stages). We only saw the route of the stage in Anneca from the car because it was snowing all day long,” Roman revealed.“Even though some roads were closed because of the snow I found it very useful. We went through the key sections and from what I saw I can say that it is going to be one of the most difficult editions of the Tour. The last week is going to be really hellish because it doesn’t feature any easy day,” Roman said.In his view, the only rider that is sure to be on the Saxo-Tinkoff  line-up for Tour is Alberto Contador. “The rest of us will have to earn the place at the Tour de Swiss or Criterium Dauphine,” added Roman who is set to start at the Tour de Swiss on June 16.
