Camp on Tenerife has come to its end

“I´ve finished another really good build-up for the Giro and now I feel much better than before the Paris-Nice. This week I tried to alternate between my regular bike and time trial bike. Some of the workouts were really tough and sometimes I put in a practice on empty stomach, which is ideal for losing weight. It is a special kind of a workout when at first, you feel a bit strange but it helps to recover from fatigue more effective. I would like to lose a kilo before the Giro starts.Petrov, Grivko and Bazajev joined me on Monday and I think that this stay did us a lot of good. I really feel great and I hope to make the best of it. It is still true that my next race will be the Trentino that starts on April 19.I will be shuttling between Pilsen and the Šumava mountains on the weekend and then I am coming back to Italy because the following week I want to do a reconnaissance ride in the key Giro stages.”
