Back from the camp on Canaries

Roman´s preparations for the upcoming season are underway. He returned from the Tinkoff-Saxo training camp that was held on the Canary Islands and he is now putting in the kilometres home in the Czech Republic.
“Everything went as planned on the Canaries. After the break I got back into the training swing. The first week we took it easy on the bike and in the second week we were doing some intervals. The goal of this camp was to put in the first kilometres that we will build on in the near future,” revealed Roman.
Having returned home he was forced to get acclimatised to much lower temperatures. “I am riding my mountain bike on the roads, between 3 and 4 hours a day. I have to find a way to survive the Christmas period. Towards the end of the year I will go riding to Italy and I will be staying at Garda over the New Year´s Eve. The next team training camp is scheduled for January but first I will go to Sicily for 8 days so I will have enough time to get into shape before the season kicks off,” said Roman.
